Conductor/Tutor
Woodwind/Conductor Position to start Term 3 2009.
Successful applicant will be responsible for conducting the Intermediate school band, tutoring small woodwind groups and a couple private alto saxophone students. This role involves being responsible for organising students in the band program. The intermediate band students have all payed for 12 months or more. Many of the group-tutors students have been playing just 6 months. Your role will be to train beginners on their chosen instrument in group lesson format in 30 minutes classes, and to conduct all children in their combined Band Rehearsal.
We are looking for professional, energetic, enthusiastic, outgoing personalities to teach children in School Band and Music lessons. Must balance enjoyment with discipline; learning with fun.
Time: Band and lessons are on Monday afternoon beginning at 3:15pm. Band rehearsal is followed by a 3 30 minute group lessons and 2 private lessons.
Requirements: Successful applicant will be competent on at least one instrument and be willing to teach or learn how to teach fundamentals on most Concert Band instruments. Must have drivers license and own transport and public transport is limited.Experience not essential as training is provided where necessary.

Conductor/Tutor
For future positions please send your resume's. We will keep them on file for when future positions arise. Successful applicants will be responsible for directing Junior and Senior ensembles, and teaching group lessons in various instruments, including Clarinet, flute, trumpet, saxophone and trombone. Training is provided where needed. Ongoing training and assistance to all tutors/conductors.
